Borough Meetings

• Workshop Meetings are the 1st Wednesday of each month at 6:30 PM. These meetings are held in the Coraopolis Municipal Building, Council Conference Room, First Floor, 1012 Fifth AVenue.  These meetings are open to the Public but comments are regulated.
• Regular Meeting are held the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 6:30 PM. These meetings are held in the Coraopolis Municipal Building, Council Chambers, Second Floor, 1012 Fifth Avenue. These meetings are open to the Public. We ask that your discussions on the Agenda and comments to Council be limited to 3 minutes. 
• The Coraopolis Water and Sewer Authority meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 6:30 PM. These meetings are held at the Coraopolis Municipal Building, Council Chambers, Second Floor, 1012 Fifth Avenue. These meetings are open to the Public.
• Planning Commitee meets as required.
• Zone Hearing Board (for variances) when announced and advertised.
• Civil Service Commission meets when announced and advertised.

SPECIAL MEETING NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that the Council of the Borough of Coraopolis will conduct a special meeting on Wednesday July 7, 2010 at 6:30PM in the Council Chambers in the Coraopolis Borough Building, 1012 Fifth Avenue, Coraopolis Borough, allegheny County, Pennsylvania to consider the following Debt Ordinance for enactment:

AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOROUGH OF CORAOPOLIS ALLEGHENY COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA, AUTHORIZING THE INCURRING OF NON ELECTORIAL DEBT FOR THE PURPOSES OF REFUNDING PRIOR BONDS AND PAYING THE COSTS OF ISSUANCE, BY THE ISSUANCE OF GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS, IN THE AGGREGARE PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF $3,500,000; FINDING SALE BY NEGOTIATIONS TO BE IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE BOROUGH; ACCEPTING A BOND PURCHASE CONTRACT; PROVIDING FOR THE FORM, MATURITIES, INTEREST RATES AND REDEMPTION FEATURES OF THE BONDS; COVENANTING FOR THE PAYMENT OF THE DEBT SERVICE; PLEDGING THE FULL FAITH , CREDIT AND TAXING POWER OF THE BOROUGH ; AUTHORIZING THE APPLICATION TO THE PENNSYLVANIA DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENTTO HAVE THE DEBT APPROVED; AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION, AUTHENTIFICATION AND DELIVERY OF THE BONDS; APPROPRIATING THE BOND PROCEEDS; AUTHORIZING PAYMENT OF EXPENSES; AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF BOND INSURANCE; APPOINTING BOND COUNSEL; RATIFYING THE PRELININARY OFFICIAL STATEMENT; AUTHORIZING APPROVAL OF THE FINAL OFFICIAL STATEMENT; AUTHORIZING THE OPENING OF A CLEARING FUND; APPOINTING A PAYING AGENT, REGISTRAR AND SINKING FUND DEPOSITARY; ESTABLISHING A SINKING FUND; APPOINTING A FINANCIAL ADVISOR; RATIFYING PRIOR ADVERTISING AND DIRECTING FURTHER ADVERTISING; UNDERTAKING TO PROVIDE CONTINUING DISCLOSURE IN ACCORDANCE WITH RULE 15c2-12 CALLING PRIOR BONDS FOR REDEMPTION; AND REPEALING INCONSISTENT ORDINANCES.
